News
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The CCCTas held its annual general meeting 23 February 2007. Attendance was excellent and the President's and Treasurer's reports were well received. It was reported membership numbers were down slightly for the year which has had a minor impact on financial position of the Council.
The committees performance was discussed and the general consensus is that we are doing ok and that we need to look at improving how we do business. We will focus on this in the coming months. There have been a number of resignations throughout the year with new members being appointed. Welcome Mrs Merylyn Crack and congratulations to Mr Malcom Greenwood for election to Chairman and Mr John Grove as Vice President. Other re-appointments were Mrs Trish Cherry as Registrar for the 13th time and Mr Lloyd Cherry as the Public Officer also for the 13th time. Miss Gabby Slade is the minute secretary and Assistant Secretary
Ribbons for the cat and kitten of the year were presented to the winners. Congratulations.

2006 Cat of the Year results are available here.
SCALE OF CHARGES AND FEES
A new scale of Charges and Fees is available of the Fees link, this is the first increase the CCCTas has implemented since it formation. There are some minor changes and are current as of January 2007.
MEMBERS AND BREEDERS
We have decided to add in another page dedicated to our members and breeders. The purpose of the page will be to provide an avenue where breeders can post information regarding their catteries, breeds and litters, you must be a member before you can be included.
This can include a limited number of photographs as well. At this stage we anticipate information will remain on this page for about 4 weeks or so, obviously we will need to review the time information remains as the page grows. We are looking forward to getting this page up and running to support our members.
